1337pwn.com brings us the first native Xbox Live friends list application for the iPhone.
1337pwn.com’s Xbox Live Friends list is now in native form and available for free through the appstore. Originally $7.99 when it came out, then down to $4.99, the application is now free. I had read some reviews the other day and saw that a lot of people were complaining about the price so I decided to wait thinking that they would have to lower the price eventually. I’m glad I waited. This application is great but it’s not exactly what you think, you have to add all your friends manually, you don’t just log in to your Xbox account and have them appear. You don’t log in to your account at all actually. It’s not necessary. With this application you can see all the basic things, like who is on, what they are playing, achievements, gamerscore, and so on. The one thing I do wish it could do is allow you to message Xbox friends from the application. I understand that it’s pretty impossible for them to do due to Microsoft’s tight security. Hopefully we’ll see a nice Friends List application from Xbox here in the future. 1337pwn’s Friends List gets the job done for the most part. They definitely need to work on a new name though.
