Sapus Tongue

Sapus Tongue is a very unique physics based game for the iPhone. The object is to turn your wrists in a circular motion to get Sapus the frog or Monus the monkey to launch as far as possible. Once you tap the screen your character will fly into the air. The faster he is spinning the further he will go. The further he goes the more points you get.

Sapus Tongue has a very kid-friendly art style and music style, one that I’ve come to like in iPhone games. The presentation is also very well put together. You have the option to view your own personal scores or check out the global scores. Also they took some time to throw in a video in the instructions section if you just can’t get the hang of it. It’s these little things that make this games presentation very professional.

The one downfall to the game is the fact that it is such a short game. With only one objective, to launch your character as far as possible, this game could get boring fast for the non-competetive type. I have to admit though, I was sucked in for a bit trying to beat my score over and over but I do not think this is a game that will have any long-term playing value. I do in fact believe there is a crowd out there who will greatly enjoy this game so if you think you may be interested then give it a try, for only $0.99 you can’t go wrong. I think Sapus Media is on the right track and I am very interested to see what they will cook up next.
