At it’s press conference this morning Nintendo, who had previously stated that new installments of it’s title properties where in development, made good on that promise, showing the trailer for Super Mario Galaxy 2. The game looks similar to the original in terms of gameplay, which is not a bad thing, by any means.
The lengthy trailer is comprised entirely of gameplay and offers little information about the story, which is understandable since the stories in Mario games are always more like an excuses for the fantastic gameplay than deep plot driven narratives. The most important news however, revealed in the footage, is that Yoshi will be part of the adventure this time.
