Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions Announced

Activision is starting to heat things up this week with Call of Duty Black Ops.  Earlier in the week we had the first ever multiplayer trailer shown that got a lot of people excited.  Now Activision has confirmed yet again, a Prestige Edition & a Hardened Edition for the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

The Hardened Edition will include a custom Black Ops medal, an Avatar outfit, and four additional co-op maps.  Not too exciting?  Well packing with the Prestige Edition is an RC car, which is based on one of the killstreak perks in the game that you may have noticed during the trailer.  The vehicle can transmit color and audio from up to 200 feet away.  The Prestige Edition will also include everything that the Hardened Edition has to offer as well.

No price announcement has yet been made, but you can almost guarantee it will be the same as Modern Warfare 2.  Which was $79.99 for the Hardened Edition and $149.99 for the Prestige bundle. Most if not all retailers are starting to take pre-orders for both bundles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will see store shelves November 9th 2010 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
