Video: Adventures of Pip at PAX South

Adventures of Pip

While we were at PAX South, one game everyone kept saying we had to check out was Adventures of Pip. This Kickstarted action-platformer stars Pip, a single pixel character in a world where your place in society is dependent on the number of pixels in your character. When an evil witch steals everyone’s pixels, devolving them to single pixel characters, it’s up to Pip to save the day.

I had a chance to interview Jeff with Tic Toc Games about Adventures of Pip. He did a fantastic job of describing the game and its unique mechanic that allows you to evolve from single bit to 16 bit to 32 bit versions of Pip, each with their own distinct advantages and disadvantages.

From what little I was able to play at PAX South, I can say Adventures of Pip is going to be a game platforming fans and those of us who have grown up gaming will thoroughly enjoy. Look for more info on the game on Everyday Gamers in the future.

If you want to learn more about Adventures of Pip now, you can check out the page for the game on Tic Toc Games’ website.
