I have to admit, I am a faithful supporter of the PixelJunk series. I've been a fan of the games ever since Racers so I'm always excited to see whatever game is going to be next in the series. I had been following PixelJunk Shooter ever since the naming competition a while back and was especially excited about the art direction of the game. PixelJunk Shooter is a game in where you control a spa... more. -

Words With Friends

Just recently I started craving a good word game. I personally love word games and I've played a few good ones on the iPhone but most of them got old pretty quick. I was considering buying Scrabble but I had heard about this game called "Words With Friends" so I decided to check it out. Words with Friends looks and plays exactly like Scrabble. You have 7 letters which you are to use to make wor... more. -
Guerrilla Bob (iPhone)

Ever since the release of iDracula and Minigore I've been craving a dual-stick shooter that has a "get from Point A to Point B" style of gameplay. Both of these games are great but they are about survival only, similar to geometry wars you have a set area that you must stay and defend yourself in for as long as you can. I wanted something that let me go through a "level" if you will. Guerrilla ... more. -

The long anticipated dual stick shooter Guerrilla Bob is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Guerrilla Bob reminds me a lot of the XBLA title "Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3." It has the same type of art-style and same type of gameplay. GB is priced at $2.99 which is very reasonable. Check out the official trailer below. ... more.

HALO on the iPhone?!

Gameloft has released the much anticipated N.O.V.A. (Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance) today and you may notice by looking at the screens below that it looks pretty darn close to that game we know as HALO. I haven't had a chance to play N.O.V.A. yet but if it controls anything like Gameloft's other iPhone FPS, Modern Combat: Sandstorm, I'm sure I will like it a lot. N.O.V.A. is $6.99 and you can get i... more. -
Rogue Warrior

I want to be very honest with this review of Rogue Warrior. I played about an hour of it and decided that it was not worth my time to continue. With all the triple A titles that have recently been released I am surprised that Rogue Warrior even made it to stores let alone with a $60 price tag. Games like Rogue Warrior make me wonder if the people who developed the game really even support it. How ... more. -
Left 4 Dead 2

When Left 4 Dead 2 was first announced I was surprised, but I wasn't one of the people planning to boycott the game. Yes, it caught me off guard, but I was excited none-the-less. In my opinion the original L4D was too short and not worth the $60. Yes, it was a really fun game but I didn't think it was a $60 game. Especially if you never play the multiplayer modes. I completed L4D2's campaign ye... more. -
Labyrinth 2 (iPhone)
1 CommentsPosted by Patrick Adams on December 7, 2009 under iPhone/Mobile Reviews
I have to admit I've been kind of slacking in the iPhone gaming department. I've been so annoyed by how many un-stellar games there are out there that I've given up on trying to find a game worth playing. Most of the top 25 games are just stupid gimmick games. So believe me when I say I was very excited to see that Labyrinth 2 was a game actually worth playing. One of the first games I ever rememb... more. -
