Game of the Week is Everyday Gamers newest feature. Every Monday we will give you guys a new flash game to play right on EDG! We’ll make sure we hand-pick the best because you guys only deserve the best! Don’t forget to give them a try and feel free to leave some comments in the comments section below the games. To find these games click on “Game of the Week” in the navigation bar on the front page. The first Game of the Week is “Castle Crashing the Beard” a fun game for anyone who’s played Castle Crashers. Check back next Monday for a new game.

Located in the top of the sidebar is a “Job Openings” section for anyone who is interested in contributing to Everyday Gamers. These positions are non-pay for now but they give you the opportunity to be involved in something that has a huge potential. Please apply if you are interested. There is no location requirement and there is no specific post requirement. Just post when you have time or when we discuss it. Thanks!

The Everyday Gamers Store is located in the “Store” page. This store is powered by Spreadshirt and includes a great selection of nice Everyday Gamers fan swag. The prices are pretty reasonable now because we haven’t set any commission so the items are at the lowest price they can be. The store will be regularly updated with new items so check back often.

The Calendar page of Everyday Gamers shows events such as video game, movie, and dvd releases. It also shows events such as E3, PAX, and anything else that I feel would be of interest to our readers. By clicking the different tabs you can navigate between Week, Month, and Agenda views. You can also navigate between months by click the arrows or navigate to a specific date by click the drop-down arrow located near the month and year.

Movie and DVD Release Dates: Red

Video Game Release Dates: Blue

Events and Expos: Orange

EverydayGamers.com Events: Green

Holidays: Purple

You can also click the drop-down arrow in the top right corner to choose which events you want to show, if you only want it to show video game releases then make sure that only the “video games releases” calendar is checked. You also have the option to print the calendar if you want.

If we aren’t sure of the exact date of a title but we know the month that it will be released we usually will put it on the first day of that month. For example even though we don’t know the exact date Fable 2 is being released we know that it is coming out in October 2008 therefore we’ve added it to October 1st until we know the exact date.

To sign up for the official Everyday Gamers newsletter just type your email into the newsletter box at the top of the homepage and click “submit”. You will then get to choose how you want to recieve the newsletter whether it be by email, Skype, Twitter, AIM, Microsoft Messenger, or Yahoo Messenger. It’s your choice.

The newsletter will include updates about the site, news about contests or game giveaways, and anything else we can think up. Sign up for the newsletter to keep up to date with everything Everyday Gamers.
