Hey guys good show. When all then Masseffect stuff started i thought the gaming press had it wrong. Multiple sites said that the fans just wanted a happy ending so i hit the forums. It seemed for a time that all that was needed was clarity. After playing the ending seems rushed and i think the story was changed around the end of ME2. Then i do some more research and find the a lot of people really do want that happy ending. Its like over a third of those dissatisfied want the option. while not close to half of those against the current ending it is enough to get the impression that the fans want "rainbows and unicorns".

I reserved Dead Island in Mason City, IA. The sales rep who I was dealing with explained I would not get the special edition due to the game coming out in 4 days, not a big deal I was still reserving anyway. Game comes out I go to pick it up and another sales rep tore into me saying in front of other customers, "You lost all your points, you lost your pre order content and we had to sell your copy because you did not come to the midnight launch". FUCK YOU ***HOLE! I didn't lose points because I never had them, sell my copy because of that is bull shit. Lost pre order content? Well that is strange, I have been under the impression that you only get special content if you get the special edition of said game. However, employees have been notorious for giving this "bonus" to people who show at the launch who do not have the special copy reserved. It was fun shopping at gamestop back when they were Electronics Boutique.
